  • Jeffery Lando - Director

    Award-winning director and avid transhumanist who has long been fascinated with artificial intelligence and new modes of creative work that it makes possible, in particular non-hierarchical forms of creative endeavours. He has been making films, both independent and mainstream, for almost three decades in much more traditional genres (horror, action, sci-fi and disaster movies). With the emergence of new technologies, he undertook a bold experiment with “Lissa's Trip” to explore what is possible if one embraces the new AI technologies and pursues filmmaking in a mindset of abundance and collaboration.

    “Lissa’s Trip” is Lando’s seventeenth feature film. Some of his notable projects include award winning SAVAGE ISLAND, INSECTICIDAL, DECOYS 2, THIRST, HOUSE OF BONES, ROBOSHARK, and SUSPENSION (Best Horror Director Montreal HorrorFest 2016, 8 Films to Die For selection 2016)

  • Sofia Vassilieva - Lissa Lliad

    A native Minnesotan, Sofia Vassilieva is an accomplshed child actress who has successfully steered her career into young adulthood. The daughter of scientists who emigrated from Russia, Vassilieva began modeling around age seven and started acting soon thereafter, most notably starring in two made-for-TV movies based on the popular "Eloise"series of children's books-"Eloise at the Plaza" and "Eloise at Christmastime." In 2004, she signed on to play Ariel DuBois, the daughter of the psychic mom played by Patricia Arquette on "Medium," and Vassilieva starred in more than 125 episodes, with her character increasingly important to the popular program's storylines. While on a break from filming "Medium," Vassilieva portrayed a terminally ill girl in the feature drama "My Sister's Keeper," going to the lengths of shaving off her hair and eyebrows to play the leukemia-stricken teen. Enrolling at Columbia University, Vassilieva continued to star on "Medium" well into the supernatural show's long run.

  • Tygh Runyan - Pan Elope

    Pan Elope is played by award-winning actor, Tygh Runyan. Lauded for his mysterious persona as Fabien Marchal, head of secret police to King Louis XIV in the hit Netflix TV series Versailles, Runyan has an A-list body of work that includes films with Ana de Armas, (Blonde) Robert DeNiro, (15 Minutes) Harrison Ford, Liam Neeson ( K-19: The Widowmaker), Tim Robbins (Antitrust) Sam Jackson (Snakes on a Plane) and Sir Ian McKellan (Emile), His portrayal of Stanley Kubrick in Monte Hellman’s “Stanley’s Girlfriend” premiered at Cannes. Hellman later cast Runyan as another obsessed film director in his 2010 epic Road to Nowhere, winner of the Special Golden Lion at the 67th Venice Film Festival. With 91 film credits, Runyan is also an accomplished composer and musician. Runyan plays guitar and sings in his LA-based band Corredor, and has scored feature films Various Positions, Red Deer, Control Alt Delete and the short, White Out. Tygh has also written, directed, and produced several Independent film projects, like his acclaimed sci-fi short film Eclissi. He is currently working on an adaptation of the novel Ludlow.

  • Brendan Beiser - Coop

    Brendan Beiser, a dual citizen (US/Canada), was born in Boston, Massachusetts and currently resides in Toronto, Canada. Prior to turning professional, he studied Theatre Performance and graduated with a BFA from Concordia University in Montreal, Canada. He has worked alongside Chace Crawford, David Duchovny, Gillian Anderson, Benicio Del Toro, Dwayne Johnson("The Rock") and Kiefer Sutherland to name but a few. Brendan has appeared in many television shows and features including; Star Trek Discovery, Suits, Downsizing, the Tooth Fairy, Orphan Black and the X-Files files.. Current projects include the Seth Rogen produced "The Boys" for Amazon, "Reacher" for Amazon, and "Pretty Hard Cases" as the recurring Detective Watts. He also co-produced and hosted, "In Conversation With..." a live talk show with members of the entertainment industry.

  • Camille Carida - Mamma Lliad

    Camille's extensive resume includes work in film, television, theater, and commercials. She appeared as the barfly Loretta on Frasier opposite Kelsey Grammer and Anthony LaPaglia, on David Allen Grier’s TV show Chocolate News. Other film credits include Jerry Bruckheimer’s Pearl Harbor, the Oscar Winning Live Action Short My Mother Dreams Satan's Disciples in NYC, Maurice Jamal’s Ski Trip 2, and The Buffalo Son. Camille also appeared as Kendra’s etiquette coach on the E! reality show The Girls Next Door. On the New York stage, Camille received accolades for her performance as Jean Harlow in a revival production of Michael McClure's The Beard and is proud of originating the role of Renata in Vaclav Havel's Slum Clearance and Bunny in Suzanne Bradbeer's Bethleham, PA. She has performed at notable regional theaters such as David Mamet’s Atlantic Theater Company, HBO Workspace, The American Repertory Theater, Florida Stage, The New Theater, City Theater, and Highways Performance Space.

  • Alexandra Vino - Alex

    Alexandra started as an acting professional at the age of seventeen. She studied “The Method “at “The Actor’s Studio” and reveres the craft.

    Vino made her first film in 2016 and it won two awards at the only festival her team submitted it to: “The Chelsea Film Festival “ in NYC. Alexandra has written many feature scripts, short stories and even kids animated content. She wants to explore many genres.

    Her latest film “Green Kola” is a satire comedy about behind the scenes of Hollywood and Madison Avenue. How marketing and celebrity goes hand in hand and the opportunistic players who are around this business. A certain famous family from Reality TV comes to mind. The film has won best short film at several festivals including Paris Independent Film Festival and LA Shorts Film Festival.

  • Mandy May Cheetham - Circe

    Mandy May Cheetham is a multi-hyphenate artist whose work explores the expression of hyper femininity as a performative response to the male gaze. Mandy has written, created and stars in two shows: MUTHA, currently on HBOmax as part of the anthology series Rachel Dratch's Late Night Snack, is about a housewife who fantasizes about becoming a rapper, and Rapping with Actors, currently on Amazon and Tubi, is an alt-comedy interview show where she interviews actors about hip hop.

    Mandy is also an award winning emcee. She has performed in London, Toronto, NY and LA with Hip Hop Legends such as The Pharcyde, DAS EFX and Naught by Nature.

    As a multiple award-winning actor, she has played in films which have screened at Cannes and at the Toronto International Film Festival as well as over 100 commercials, short films, stage productions and television episodes.

  • Dari'on Carrion - Darion

    Dari'on Carrion aka Dari’on Lance was born Dec 21, 1994 in Providence, Rhode Island. He is someone with a bit of both worlds whether its acting or singing.

    From the age of seven Carrion has been performing on stages for open mics, talent shows and contest. While attending high school he began participating in community plays and music events to focus on music composition and songwriting. Later, he began to hone his skills in music production, songwriting and audio engineering.

    This enthusiastic journey of Dari’on has lead him to get featured on Grammy-winning R&B singer/songwriter Eric Bellinger's independent artist mixtape in 2021 called "The Get Up." In 2018, Carrion also won 1st place in a Coast 2 Coast music video contest.

    That same year, he performed at BET Weekend at the Grammy Museum in Los Angeles, California. Carrion also opened the Method Man & Red Man and Eric Bellinger. As an artist, he has worked with a variety of different artists in his home town,rapper 2Pac's cousin Katro from the Outlaws but that’s not the only stopping journey for him. His ability to seamlessly switch between acting and singing has allowed him to stand out in a crowd and make a name for himself. His natural charisma and talent has helped him to quickly become a rising star in both the acting and singing world.

    Being a talented musician, his skills translate well into the world of acting. He gets into the character easily and makes it his own. This adds a layer of depth to his performances that audiences appreciate. This allows him to flex his muscles as an actor and showcases his range.

  • Mackenzie Gray - Priggish Pete Parakeet

    Mackenzie was born and raised in Toronto. A professional actor for over 40 years, he has appeared in over 250 films and television shows. He has acted in or directed over 100 plays on stage across Canada. Films include RABID, MAN OF STEEL, WARCRAFT, METALLICA: THROUGH THE NEVER, GRAVE ENCOUNTERS and THE

    IMAGINARIUM OF DR. PARNASSUS.

    TV Series include NANCY DREW, RIVERDALE, FARGO, LEGENDS OF TOMORROW, THE NET,

    SUPERNATURAL, PSYCH, SMALLVILLE, and countless TV movies. He has voiced hundreds of characters in Animated series, including NINJAGO,MY LITTLE PONY and IRONMAN:ARMOURED ADVENTURES

    Mackenzie has been nominated for many awards and is a 21-time Leo Award “Best Actor” nominee and recently won three Leos for his work on the TV series SPOOKSVILLE, BITTEN and DIRK GENTLY’S HOLISTIC DETECTIVE AGENCY.

  • Travis Turner - Stubborn Suzee Sparrow

    Singer-songwriter-actor T- Travis Turner co-wrote and performed ‘NEVER GIVE UP’ in Lissa’s Trip. He has performed with acts like Macklemore, B-Real, Warren G, Lil’ Kim, D12, Hopsin, The Beatnuts, R.A. The Rugged Man, Swollen Members, , Moka Only, Luckyiam, Kyprios and Shamik. In the EDM scene live he has rocked with The Funk Hunters, Average Gypsy, WMN Studies and hosted electronic Festivals with world-renowned DJ's like Giom.

    Turner has Featured on film an tv such as: Supernatural, Marley and Me 2, Some Assembly Required and Fairly Odd Christmas. Catch him as the voice on animations such as Lui Shirasagi in Beyblade Burst. The Littlest Pet Shop as the DJ/ Rapper Trip Hamston, and Ice Man in MegaMan Fully Charged.

  • Jerica Simmons - Cross Carol Crow

    Jerica Simmons aka BenZosa is an actress and recording artist from Nova Scotia. She is best known for her music with hip hop group “Blue team Blue” formerly “Skoshun Tiez” with whom she’s won several ANSMA awards and performed televised with at the East Coast Music Awards.

  • Bobby Del Rio - Sad Sam Seagull

    Bobby Del Rio has a 20+ year career in the film & television industry.

    Bobby became one of the top social audio influencers in the world during the pandemic. He became national news in Canada by breaking into Hollywood from the social audio app Clubhouse.

    He also secured a distribution deal for The Market, a feature film Bobby wrote/directed. Currently available on Amazon Prime in the US & UK.

    Bobby plays TOMMY in several episodes of the limited television series “Poly is the New Monogamy”, created by Cat Hostick.

  • Jennifer Hershman - Singer - 'Wake Up'

    Being open to performing and singing at an early age Is what led Jennifer Hershman down her Garden Path. She opened her heart to sing at the age of 8 and happily, hasn’t stopped since. Jennifer has been crafting the art of her songwriting and Creative releases for over 15 years. Some of her highlights include having her songs Recorded in two foreign languages. Having over a million streams on Spotify. Lending her voice to a Wes Craven Soundtrack. And Touring with an electronica Recording act ; Balligomingo , signed to RCA out of New York, Singing like a bird in soft seater Theatres , Including The Denver Bluebird, and The infamous El Ray Theatre ! Jennifer plays the guitar and ukulele. And has taught music locally in her Community of Main street Vancouver to support her craft and stay connected to the local Community.

  • Daryl Bennett - Composer

    Daryl Bennett is based in Vancouver British Columbia and has been composing award winning scores for film and television for over 30 years. Credits include BISPING (2021 Leo Award winner Best Musical Score), Featuring Michael Bisping, Vin Diesel, Mickey Rourke, The Murders starring Jessica Lucas for City TV (2020 Leo Award winner Best Musical Score), The Connected Universe (narrated by Sir Patrick Stewart), I AM MLK JR. (2021 SOCAN Award Best Musical Score, 2019 Leo Award winner Best Musical Score), IRL the Series, I AM Paul Walker Jr., Lost Solace, The Bleeding Edge, The Exhibition (Emmy Award winner, Canadian Screen Award winner Leo Award winner) Nash- The Documentary, The Vetala, Kids In Jail, Voyage of the Unicorn, Outer Limits, Higher Ground, Engaged To Kill, Ronnie and Julie, Little Brother of War, Once In A Blue Moon, Decoys, Beggars and Choosers, The Entrance, and First Wave, among many others.     As a drummer, cellist, and recording artist, Bennett’s success has enabled him to work with a wide range of artists and producers such as Ray Charles, David Foster, Andrae Crouch, Celine Dion, Kenny Rogers, Kenny G, Kenny Loggins, Emmy/Grammy nominated engineer/mixer Jorge Vivo, Sony Pictures producer Tim Davis, Franke Previte (Dirty Dancing), Powder Blues, and many more. He has also enjoyed numerous collaborations as a music producer and songwriter earning a Grammy nomination for Best Pop/Contemporary Gospel Album with Andrae Crouch.

    In the span of his career, he has produced hundreds of hours of broadcast audio mixes and sound tracks.

  • Eli Bennett -Tenor Saxophone

    Award-winning saxophonist Eli Bennett has performed twice at the GRAMMY Awards in Los Angeles and shared the stage with the likes of Oscar Peterson, Hank Jones, Barry Harris, Terence Blanchard, Dave Holland, and the Neville Brothers. He is a two-time-recipient of the CBC Galaxie Rising Star Award from the National Jazz Awards and the Ottawa International Jazz Festival, was awarded the Vancouver Mayor’s Arts Award for music in 2012, is a D’Addario Woodwinds Artist, a Selmer-Paris Endorsing Artist, a Yamaha Young Performing Artist, an AMT Performing Artist, and in 2013 was awarded the Queen Elizabeth II Diamond Jubilee Medal from the Premier of BC.

    Originally from Vancouver, Canada, and actively performing in Vancouver and Toronto since 2007, Eli has not only frequented jazz clubs such as Cory Weed’s Cellar Jazz Club and The Rex Hotel as a leader and sideman, but was also recently featured on an episode of the popular Science Channel TV show Through the Wormhole with Morgan Freeman. In addition to performing at the Vancouver, Toronto, Ottawa, All-Canadian, and Prince Edward County jazz festivals, he has also performed regularly for dignitaries at the Queen’s Park Ontario Legislature, the Netherlands Consulate in Toronto for Queen Beatrix’s official birthday celebration, and the Ontario Premier’s Awards.

    Other notable awards include the Jazz.FM91/Mary Elizabeth Stuart Award (Toronto International Jazz Festival), the Fred Sherratt Award (MusiCounts/CARAS), two DownBeat Awards for jazz composition, and the Oscar Peterson Grant for Jazz Performance from the Hnatyshyn Foundation. TV and radio appearances include Canada AM, ET Canada, CTV BC, CBC Radio’s Hot Air, JazzFM91, and articles in The Province, The Georgia Straight, and DownBeat Magazine.

    As a film composer with over thirty credits, his musical scores have premiered at the world’s most prestigious film festivals, including Festival de Cannes and the Toronto International Film Festival. In 2012, he earned a Leo-Nomination for additional music in the film Nash – The Documentary (Alliance), and in 2013 received two Leo-Nominations for his work on short films Reset and Escape Act. In 2014 he earned another Leo-Nomination for “Best Musical Score in an Animation Program or Series” for the animated short-film Remedy, and was also the co-composer for Take Back Your Power, which won the Leo for “Best Documentary”. In 2015, Bennett was awarded two SOCAN Foundation Awards for “Best Film Score in a Fiction Film” and “Best Film Score in a Non-Fiction Film”.

    Bennett’s debut jazz album, Breakthrough, released September, 2016, has received extensive international attention, ranking in the top ten on the Canadian and U.S. Jazz Radio Charts, while being featured on the homepage of iTunes Canada Jazz for two months as one of the top Canadian jazz albums. In addition to major international radio play in North America, Europe, and Asia, the Ottawa Citizen named Breakthrough the “#4 Best Jazz Debut Album” for the previous year, while All About Jazz, Earshot Magazine and Wholenote Magazineechoed similar critical acclaim for the debut. Shortly after its release, Breakthrough won the Julian Jazz Award for ‘Best Canadian Jazz Album by an Emerging Artist’, as well as a nomination for ‘Jazz Recording of the Year’ at the Western Canadian Music Awards. Breakthrough was also named the “#4 Best Canadian Release” of the year by JAZZ.FM91, North America’s top jazz radio station, and was awarded the Silver Medal for “Best Jazz Album” at the Global Music Awards in San Diego, California.

    In support of Breakthrough’s pre-release, Bennett embarked on Breakthrough Tour 2015, a 10–day, 10–show cross–Canada Jazz Festival tour with his quartet that saw him perform sold–out concerts at Canada’s major jazz festivals including Vancouver, Calgary, Medicine Hat, Toronto, Ottawa and Montreal, where he was featured prime–time main stage for over ten thousand people after receiving the nomination for the TD Grand Jazz Award from the festival.
